OUR MISSION

At Game Ready, our mission starts with who we are: two local fathers, former Terra Linda Trojans, and college football players who grew up in this community and are committed to giving back to it. Football shaped our lives from youth ball to Friday nights to the college level, and the lessons we learned along the way are the same ones we want to pass on to the next generation.

We believe football is more than a sport — it’s a vehicle for discipline, resilience, accountability, teamwork, confidence, and personal growth. Those values guided us as young athletes, as college players, and now as coaches and parents. Our goal is to create a place where kids can experience those same benefits in a positive, supportive environment.

We built Game Ready to help young athletes learn the game the right way from an early age. That means sound fundamentals, proper technique, football IQ, and a clear understanding of how to play safely and competitively. We want every athlete to develop the habits, skills, and mindset that will elevate their game — whether they’re brand new to football or already dreaming big.

Ultimate, our mission is simple:

Help kids play football at a higher level while building the character traits that last far beyond the field. Through detailed coaching, real mentorship, and a community-first approach, we aim to prepare young athletes for success in football and in life

Paul Schilling

Paul Schilling is a native of Marin County and a passionate coach for Game Ready Sports Camp. During his high school years at Terra Linda High School, Paul was a remarkable three-sport athlete, particularly excelling in baseball, basketball, and football. He was a varsity football starter for all three years and earned all-league honors each year. In 2004, Paul's football team won the coveted NCS Football championship against the undefeated Marin Catholic in a much-sought-after battle.

After high school, Paul went on to play football for Whittier College for four years. During his time there, he played both sides of the ball as a running back, safety, and punt returner. After college, Paul returned home to Marin County and began his coaching career back at Terra Linda High School. Over his six-year stint from 2010 to 2016, he served as Freshmen Head Coach, JV Head Coach, Varsity Offensive Coordinator, and Running Backs Coach.

In 2016, Paul took a brief break from coaching to focus on his family when his first child turned one. However, he returned to coaching in 2021 when his oldest son got into the circuit, coaching for Next Level Football at San Marin. Currently, he serves as Terra Linda football's Varsity Running Backs Coach.

In addition to coaching, Paul loves spending time with his family, which includes his wife, son, three daughters, and two dogs. He also has a real passion for youth sports and teaching a love and appreciation for the game.
